Team Billand went out to Paradise Cove and didn't see anything got ready to leave and heard a familiar noise, sounded like a seal breathing. They looked around didn't see anything. They heard it again, and then saw a seal floating on the surface. They were able to ID RN14 Kalani, looking around, sniffing the air, swimming in the lagoon alone. At 6:45 am he departed the lagoon heading west.
Their next stop to a beach further west they see RN14 Kalani coming in, he bobs up and down looking over the rocks. He comes around the rocks pulls into the area looking again, he begins to vocalize, stops, listens. They look around, didn't see anything, RN14 hauls up and over the mid rocks, still vocalizing, he gets louder. They decided to leave to not draw attention to him.
On Team Billand's next and last trip to check on RN14 Kalani they spot Kaale RH32 resting next to him on the rocks. Poor RN14 been on his own calling for out for some company and little butt head Ka'ale RH32 came through.
Team Billand's last sighting of the day was out on the West End, as the rains were tapering off they were able to see a critter on the cliffs. Everything was so muddy hard to get around, but they go to take a closer look.
They can see tags it's RH48 Lei Ola, they were surprised to see her there today. She is looking healthy still with her hook but resting alone. ( hmmm should we name her hook? ) They decided to leave since it was so muddy and didn't want to bring any attention to her.
Gayle spotted Right Spot R016 at Kaupo this morning, glad to have her back in the neighborhood. She was there all day and left at 17:40.
This afternoon she spotted Kaiwi after the rain stopped. She was resting and looking quite plump.
Also this afternoon Gayle was able to ID Kolohe at Lanai Lookout, as he cooperated by showing his cue ball bleach mark. (Pretty safe to assume it was him yesterday).
