Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:55 to 2:45 and there were five seals on island.
Directly down from 1BS was either a Juvenile Female or one of the weaners: juvenile size, light female belly with lots of sand and two red tags.
Near SRI were three seals:
Subadult Female: subadult size, new coat, light to medium gray female belly and two red tags. Shelooked very different sized depending on her position. Marilyn believes this to be the recently molted SF, but is not sure.
Next to her was Adult Female 1: adult size, old coat, yellowish tan female belly and unsure about tags.
Adult Female 2: adult size, old coat, also yellowish female belly, possibly two red tags and a scar on her right lower lip. She entered the water at the SRI channel and provided a brief view of her light female belly. She returned less than 10 minutes later.
At 2 pm Marilyn found an Unknown Adult on Lanikai side of LPB. She never got a view of the UA's ventral side or rear flippers. Marilyn think the coat looks new, so it may be one of the recently molted adult females.
