Near each other near the surge channel at LPB were:
Adult Female: adult size, new coat with a light gray female belly, unsure about tags. She never showed anything but her ventral side.
Weaner RS34: weaner size, although the coat looks a bit older, female belly and unsure about tags. Identified by RS34's nb on her lower right side.
On the rock flats behind SRI was molting RP24: juvenile size, lightgray female belly, two red tags and NB on her LFF Her molt appears to be about 70%. Her entire ventral side is new fur, and part way up each side.
Out on RRB was a Subadult Female: subadult to adult size, older coat, tannish yellow female belly, unsure about tags.
Melody got word that Kaiwi RK96 and RK24 Bruno/Wawamalu were hanging out together today. So she headed over to check it out. When she arrived they were on the beach snoozing.
They stayed there for a while but then Kaiwi made her way into the water. RK24 followed her, barking, splashing, slapping and rolling began. Perhaps she was trying to tell him to back off? He wasn't listening. They moved down the beach and did more rolling in the water finally hauling out together.
Team R&B once again found the royal ladies who were resting close to the grassy area. Leina RL70 molting and was on the right of RH76
At another west side location there was R416 Makalii. He was resting to the right and was alone. The tide was rising and covering most of the rocks.
Then Team R&B spotted two more seals in the water foraging. They were not able to get any IDs just a couple of quick shots.
