Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:05 to 2:40 and there were just two seals on island.
On LPB was the molting Subadult Female: subadult size, about 60% molted, now with a medium gray belly and two red tags. She has completed the molt on her ventral side and partly up her sides and her head.
Initially near 3BS was an adult male that Marilyn believes to be RK24 Bruno/Wawamalu. He entered the water at 3BS about 1:16 and in less than 5 minutes later hauled out near the Subadult Female, but never touched her. He then entered the water about 1:20 and hauled out on the Lanikai side of LPB at 1:52 pm. RK24: adult size, older coat, tan male belly, two red tags and a scar on his right side about 1/3 of the way forward of his rear flippers.
Today was the day Team R&B had more time to search for seals and they were on a mission. They first checked on Kala and there was an empty spot and needless to say they were bummed. Just as they decided to leave the area, they spotted RH76 Kala! She had moved from her spot and her molt is about 85% done. She is looking really clean and her shark bite scars were visible on the left side of her face.
Unfortunately she was the only seal they found today.
