Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:15 to 2:20 and there were three seals today.
On LPB was Weaner RS34: weaner size ad coloration, light female belly and nb on the lower right side. She's probably the weaner that Marilyn saw yesterday in the same location.
Near 1BS was RP24 Mohala: juvenile size, new coat, light gray female belly, two red tags and nb on the tip of LFF.
Nearby was a Subadult Female: subadult size, older coat, tannish gold female belly, line scar on her upper right chest and two red tags.
Posse pal Joanie found RH92 Nalani. She came up to Nimitz cove about 7:00 this morning. She was alone and was resting peacefully.
Team R&B went to check on RL70 Leina. They were thrilled to find two females together again. RH76 was back and her coat is looking dark and I quote "goofy". She might be getting ready for her molt.
They found one more seal today. They spotted RL42 Leia on the rocks resting at the cliffs. She is molting and thankfully flashed her tag for a positive ID. She looks to be about 50% into her molt.
