April 5 2023 Wednesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 2:35 to 4:05 and there were six seals on island.
On LPB were Mom 4 and PO4. Marilyn believes she saw the applied N12 bleach in one of the photos and that means Sadie RB12 is the Mom. There were several nursing sessions and some snoozing.
In thier usual location about 40 feet of the 3BS was Mom 3 and PO3. They were mostly snoozing during Marilyn's observations.
Part way into her session she became aware of two seals on the rocks flats around SRI. They are both labeled Unknown/Unknown. They never moved to get any information on size, gender or tags.

Team R&B first stop at a west side location they found three seals. R3CU was on lower rocks. The
brothers RP30 Puka and RM31 Kai were at seal inlet.
Later in the day they went back and now RL08 was up on the rocks.

Next at the bay under a unique sky they found two seals. There was RH76 Kala in the company of R3CX Nalu. He was very interested in her, she kept barking and slapping him with her hind flippers. LOL seal's round house kick.

They headed over to kahe point and found a seal. It took them forever to get RL20 Kalua's ID. There were lots of people out on the beach not to mention the dogs.

Heading over to paradise cove they saw a volunteer on site with signs and ropes up.  There was Kekoa Alii RK72 with Aukai RL12. They made noticed a lip scar on RK72 but now they will know. They did also see his signature scar on the right side of his face.

Next stop was over to secrets and there was RN14 Kalani up on the rocks by the entrance. So they adjusted the signs but people just ignored the signs and kept going. The tide came up and RN14 made his way onto the sand.
Team R&B called the hotline a couple of times and sent photos of all the people swimming, snorkeling
and sitting on shore. They did the best they could and finally left 3:15, hoping someone would show up.

At the end of the day they made one lest stop. They were thrilled to find RQ24 Mauna. He was alone doing just fine on hidden rocks.
They also got to enjoy watching the dolphins.
