April 7 2023 Friday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit ISland from 12:30 to 1:45 and it was a day for the Moms and pups to have the island to themselves.
Mom 4 (presumably Sadie) and PO4 were on LPB. Marilyn witnessed one nursing session and some snoozing. Once again mom only showed her right side, so could not see if applied bleach N12 to confirm.
Mom 3 (presumable RF34) and PO3 were at their usual spot. Initially they were down in the tide pool but them galumphed onto the beach and PO3 immediately hid behind Mom. I guess its a little shy.

Team R&B made it out early to the bay and found RL20 Kalua resting on the edge of the rocks. They waited to see him him move to confirm ID.
Then a second seal came in and it was RH76 Kala. Kala slid in near RL20 checking him out.  She galumphed up on the rocks, glaring at RL20. He woke up and they had words, but Kala stared him down until they both settled in.

Next they headed over to paradise cove. When they arrived at the area they didn't see any seals, but tons of people everywhere. Team R&B met a nice woman who pointed out a seal up on the reef to the right, and a seal resting in the water.
Security spoke with Team R&B earlier and said a tourist went up to the green seal and the seal went ballistic and almost bit the tourist. It was RL08.
The seal in the shallows was RK72 Kekoa Alii. They placed a call into the hotline and waited. They spoke with security again explaining who the seals were. Security had called the hotline earlier.
RK72 was barking at RL08, he moved over so he could come up the reef.
They argued for a bit RL08 went into the water next to the rocks and RK72 followed.  They were ready to come back on the sand, they kept looking but it was really
crowded. They had no where to go with the tide coming in.
No volunteers arrived, eventually Team R&B gabe up.

At another west side location they spotted RP30 Puka on left high rocks.  Then there was RG28 Lefty to the right of seal inlet resting alone.
