Today's dailies are brought to you by Team T&D and Team R&B 💕.
Team T&D hiked Ka'ena Point today and caught up with Lesley on her way out. Team T&D had a six seal day today. RN44 aka Mr. Green is molting, which means I'll have to come up with a new reference. RN44 was in the company of a honu. Next seal was RN58 Luana, who is looking large. RL74 Kami was easily seen with a big bright on the rocks. Near Kami was R330 Squinty on the heels of RL98 Lina. And lastly they saw R3CX hidden in the tide pool.
Team R&B were out early morning and spotted two seals in the outfall. They ID'd RH32 Kaale and
RN14 Kalani. Suddenly there was some action water splashing to the right and RN14 had something. There was a sea turtle, that he was playing with, there was some cuddles, some mouthing and splashing, thankfully the honu wasn't hurt. The turtle landed on shore several times while Kalani kept chasing. A wave took them both back in the water, the honu escaped and Kalani was not happy about it. Meanwhile Kaale stayed in the outfall alone.Team R&B followed Kalani who was heading to tracks. Out popped another seal, Lefty RG28 and the fun began, Lefty and Kalani got into it. Lefty doesn't want Kalani on shore, they fought for a while, both landed. They still mouthing at each other until they fell asleep on shore. Team R&B called the hotline.
They waited for Kaale RH32 to show up, and eventually they gave up and went looking. They found him at another location sound a sleep in front of one of the camps.
Team R&B got word of a seal landing at KoOlina, they had been there earlier and didn't find anything. So back they went and good they did. There was the fat lady RL12 Aukai, she was resting peacefully in a nice zone set up by security.
After visiting with Aukai they took a drive to another west side location and found a seal snoozing on shore. There was RH92 Nalani sleeping alone, and bonus was no one was around to bother her.
