03/12/2021 Friday Monk Seal Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Lesley and Team R&B💕.  Lesley's Ka'ena update is part two of the dailies.

Team R&B started the day at the outfall and found RH32 Kaale foraging and doing 4 minute dives.  A little bit later they found Ka'ale hauled out at tracks. They did their best and made a "stick" zone until a volunteer arrived.

While watching over Kaale they were looking around and to the left they spotted a seal coming in. Here comes bosom buddy Kalani RN14. He hauled right up with Kaale, funny how these two get along.

At another west side location they spotted RW02 PvKauai on the rocks alone. Kala RH76 was to the right and RG28 Lefty got a look at Kala and decided to join her.

Team R&B hurried out to a location further west hoping to find another seal. To their delight they found RL42 Leia snoozing alone and very well hidden in the rocks.  The area was packed with people so Team R&B got the ID and quickly left the area.
