It was a crazy morning all around. Rain, Tsumani Watch, document seals, close park, watch canceled, open park....
So those seals today were: RN58 Luana sleeping with a beach to herself, R3CU with a fresh wound in the company of little RL98 Lina and later joined by R3CX (love the NB on the side of his face) while RO40 Ka'ena was on the same beach and undisturbed by the others, last R330 Squinty who'd been 3 days in the same pool decided to leave it and swim out to sea.
A side note regarding wounds RL74 Kami had a CC bite 2 weeks ago, it was horrible and for us humans looked painful, fast forward 2 weeks the wound has dried and is closing nicely. The same is going to happen with R3CU's new wound, we will get calls but can assure the public that they don't seem to feel the pain, may stay put for a day or more and when you least expect they are rolling in the water playing. Of course, we keep an eye on them, report their conditions daily as well as all the other seals. We do try to avoid sharing photos of the wounds
More soon - Be Safe
