First let me apologize, I am going to keep the dailies at a bare minimum, it's been a busy weekend for me, in that I moved. (not far but non the less it still requires the same efforts) and I am pooped.
Melody headed over to check on Kaiwi this morning and she's about 35-40% molted. She is peeling in large sections which makes seem she will be done soon. Melody noted the beaches were busy and there were lots of questions. Thank you Melody for the update.
Team Billand was at the outfall this morning and didn't see any seals, but were told there was a seal that came by and didn't steal any fish, LOL we know it wasn't Ka'ale. Checking out the area they found a seal coming in and they were surprised to see Da Benny RE74 speeding to the rocks and finally landing. He's getting up there old boy is 17 years old, but he is looking healthy.
Just want to note that Benny is special to Team Billand and seeing him today was especially sweet because it's Robert's Birthday! Happy Birthday Robert, we love you!
At 9 am they found two seals R3CX Nalu and RH32 Kaale. They were at the same location but not near one another .
Just before 1 pm they found Lei Ola RH48. She is looking beautiful all shiny and gray.
