My first seal was an hour later PO4 Kai D86 was swimming in the crack at the Parking Lot. I spoke to a fisherman nearby and he smiled and said they (him and Kai) had been there since dark.
Next was RK40 Napua at 10 Mns Beach
At the point there was a lot of action. RK36 Kauai Kolohe was at BG's Pool.
I went to look for RL74 Kami where I'd seen her yesterday, but she wasn't there but further on, on the flats RO40 Ka'ena was partially hauled out.
I went back to document RK36 Kauai Kolohe just on time to get some pics before he left.
Waves were big and tide was coming up.
R330 Squinty was hauled out on the Runway and starting to be washed by the waves.
At the point a seal was in the Main pool. It was Kauai Kolohe while doing outreach a second seal came in it was Squinty - It took a very long time to ID those 2 because there was a lot of hippo going on and slow-motion movements then head bobbing's and vocalizing.
Heading back, I saw a white rock where there no white rock, used the camera to zoom in and check and there was a small seal. It turned out to be RL74 Kami.
Back at 10 Mns Beach RL98 Lina was hauled out with RK40 Napua - there was no interaction, and both were in sleep mode.
Made it to Lyman's West just on time to see RN58 Luana hauling out. PO4 Kai was hauled out right in front of our main beach access. More tomorrow
