Team Billand arrived at the outfall and spotted two critters swimming by heading easy. They headed over to a near by beach and found RG28 Lefty had just hauled out on the rocks. They did not see any other seals there.
They rechecked on RG28 later on in the day and he was in the same spot.
The only other critters out there today were a bunch of chickens running around.
Just before noon Team Billand found RN14 Kalani at a west side location. He was sleeping to the
right in the seal inlet area. He was alone and barely moved at all.
Guess the seals did what a lot of us humans did today, lay low and ride out the weather.
Next they found Kekoa Alii RK72 to the right and also alone. It had rained so hard and wind was so bad Team Billand could barely hold their umbrella. Kekoa like the others just slept the day away.
Then last but not least Team Billand spotted Lei Ola RH48 coming in. She landed on lower rocks and stayed by herself. Team Billand hung out in the rain for as long as they could but no other seals arrived.
