Also I wanted to share this link to NOAA's update on the recent losses from 2019.

Team Billand was at the outfall this morning and spotted a seal at the end of the Jetty, then the seal disappeared. They were unable to get a picture of the UU.
Then just before 10 am they found Ka'ale RH32 sleeping on the rocks at a haul out not to far from the outfall. They rechecked on him in the afternoon and he was still there.
But on this morning Team Billand was thrilled to capture a picture of a boobie eating a fish. ;-)
At a west side beach they found R3CX Nalu on lower rocks. ID was easy with his tags visible.
To the right of Nalu was Kekoa Alii RK72 snoozing. He's looking nice and fat.
Seal #3 was R3CU laying off to the right. It took Team Billand some time to make his ID but thankfully he did a flipper flex.
Last seal of the day was Lina RL98. Team Billand found her at 3:30 tucked in the rocks really hard to see. BUT the good news her applied bleach N34 was visible. She was alone and in snooze mode.
Team Billand did witness a lot of seal action today, I guess the humpbacks were happy to see the sun.
