Team Billand stopped at White Plains early morning but found no seals. They did see one of the trees that "sharkbite" T15M use to spend time snoozing was chopped down. Seems recent weather conditions was the cause. Auntie told them of a little turtle that was being chased by a tiger shark. They found the turtle that had some nylon net tangled on fore flipper. Robert and a good samaritan were able to cut the net off. They checked the turtle and all limbs were in tact, no bite marks. The turtle was able swim off once it was cut from the net. THANK YOU !
They were rewarded with a humpback breaching off shore by the buoy.
Team Billand got a text from posse pal Melody that she was with Kaale RH32 at a westside beach.
He was alone on the rocks. They had been there twice before and found no critters. They noticed bite marks around his right fore flipper. ( ?shark?)
Next find for Team Billand at 11:00 am was Kekoa to the right on mid rocks snoozing. Melody and volunteer Melina was already on site. On the lower rocks was Kawena RH36. There was a third seal off shore foraging. Despite their efforts they could not make an ID.
