As many have already heard through their sources or facebook post, let me be the last to inform you that Rocky's pup returns to Kauai after a stay at Ke Kai Ola. It is great news to have him returned home and the fact we have Ke Kai Ola to make this possible is a blessing. You can read all about it and see some cute photos of RK58 by reading the following story.

Late afternoon Team Billand returned to the site and RIP RR70 was up to the right of Kawena in the little tiny pond. RIP is a big boy, robust and healthy. He moved very little during their observation.
Team Billand had checked white plains earlier this morning before they picked up Olivia, but there were no seals. They got word early afternoon that two seals hauled out, so off thy went.
There was Buster V08 sleeping in a zone made by the life guards. Buster was sound a sleep, as he hardly moved at all, he was just chilling in the cool breeze, warm sunshine and rain.
Then there was Pohaku R028 by the fenceline. She was also in a zone the life guards had set up for her. BIG KUDOs to the life guards !!!
Team Billand could see her scars and noted she is looking quite plump and peaceful. Team Billand called the hotline to inform them of the two seals.
On a different note, I spotted a photo of a seal on social media today. It's an aerial vantage point, taken on Oahu at the alohilani resort posted by Hawaii Camera @neohumanity. I want to make sure I point people in the right direction if they want to know more about it. I wanted to share because after 11 years of doing this blog and literally thousands of photos, this one really is quite special, in my humble opinion. (and we have had LOTS of spectacular photos on this blog). I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Nice photo!!
