Team Billand received a text with pictures early this morning. Initially they thought they would find Benny but when they arrived they couldn't see any tags and a funny hind flipper mark. The seal was full of sand but looking closing Team Billand finally determined this was Buster boy V08. They called the hotline and put a zone up. Surfers in the area were excited to see a seal back at Plains. Some of them do enjoy seeing them. Team Billand left the site by 8 am.
Team Billand headed to a west side beach which ended up being the only other location where they found critters. When they arrived onsite Kekoa RK72 was their first find. He was on high rock to the left snoozing.
While observing Kekoa. RW02 PvKauai came in. Team Billand did not see him yesterday and wondered if he might have been with the ladies. RW02 went on lower rocks and on their last visit he moved down into the playboy pond snoozing. He seems to like this spot and fits in very nicely.
On their last check of the day Kekoa was joined by Ka'ale RH32 on high rocks. They managed to get a shot of his tags of Kaale. RW02 was still there and all seals remained in snooze mode.
