September 19, 2024 Thursday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Tammy and Team R&B💕

Tammy is still visiting the Big Island (lucky!) While she was out and about today she came across R8HE.
She is a female that has been seen on Oahu and I believe she originally started out on Kauai. How cool to see that she's made her way across the island chain.

Team R&B started their day at the bay. Upon arrival they see three
people climbing down the rocks. They also see RH76 Kala and then the guy started talking to Kala, pointing his fingers at her as if he was scolding her. Kala RH76 woke up and barked at the guy and then leaped towards him.
Team R&B yelled out to them and headed over to talk with them. Very sternly asking what they were doing and telling them to leave the seal alone, that harassing the seal is against the law. Finally the three people came up, and Team R&B once again told them not to do that. Team R&B spoke to one of the workers in the area about them, and he even told them to leave the seal alone.
Still in the area they saw RM31 Kai was alone on the rocks. Thankfully he was undisturbed by the tourists.
As they were trying to keep Kala safe, they spotted another seal approaching RM31. It was RL20 Kalua. He landed, galumphed up to RM31 and started to head butt him. You know to wake him up. RM31 turned to face RL20 and then they both settled in for a rest.
Oh just to add to all the cuteness a dolphin popped up !
Today was a busy day at the bay.  Team R&B also spotted two seals foraging, but they never landed. They were able to ID RH48 Lei Ola and R3CX Nalu.

Next stop they were happy to find RL42 Leia. It appeared she just got to the area and she is looking good. Thankfully she's putting on weight and her ribs are no longer visible.

Team R&B made the trek to Ka'ena West, which gives them some peace especially after dealing with difficult situations. It does get to you and makes one wonder if its worth it.  I do hope Team R&B continue doing what they do, since their sharing brings so much to so many of us.  But I do understand how difficult it can be somedays.
On their trek they were rewarded by finding RP28 alone and resting. He is looking quite handsome and was looking so peaceful without anyone around to bother him
