As a side note, under the yesterdays news I forgot to include that Team R&B also found RP28 out at Ka'ena West yesterday.  I'm not sure how this got overlooked but I wanted to include it in todays update.

Team R&B received a text from a friend letting them know there were two seals on the rocks at Pokai.  When they got to the area there were actually three seals. To the left was RM31 Kai alone. In the front of

the area was RH76 Kala and in front to the right was Lei Ola RH48.

While there they kept checking the water looking for more seals. Their instincts  were spot on, finally at the rest camp side they spotted a green seal foraging. The unknown green seal had tags but was too far away to get any ID.

Team R&B observed a rescue of an older man on a kayak who they have seen before. Not sure what happened other than the lifeguard ran entered the water heading for the kayak, then a lifeguard on a jet ski

arrived. They towed him in as he held on. Luckily the man was okay, awesome job guys!!

Team R&B made their way out to Ka'ena West again today. They made the walk out even though it was hotter than yesterday. The only seal they came across was RP28, the small male from Kauai. He was alone on the rocks resting.

They decided to recheck at Pokai. They saw three seals on the same side. There was RM31 Kai, RH32 Kaale and RH76 Kala. 

They saw Kaale fly over the rocks, when he saw another seal to the left. He hurried over and found RM31 Kai. Kai protected himself by posturing and barking at Kaale.  Then Kaale took off.

Kala RH76 and Kai RM31 remained.  There was no sign of Lei Ola who had been there earlier.
