Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:50 to 3:15 and there were the two weaners on the island.
Along with the two seals there were two fishermen on island for the entire viewing session. One of the men was the same as on Wednesday who was reported.
Marilyn did not see any seals until 2:38 after the fishermen had left the LPB area. The two weaners were playing together near the waters edge on the 1BS side of LPB. They never fully hauled out and then disappeared again at 2:52 pm.
Team R&B started their day as usual at the bay. They waited to see if any seals would come in to thearea. Thankfully about 30 minutes later they saw the lovely Miss Kala RH76 arrived slowly, checking the area to see that it was safe to haul out.
She finally made her way up on the rocks. Then she immediately went into hiding.
A good thing too because a whole bunch of folks came with floaties and fins. Team R&B waited for a bit and all was good with the people, mostly because they didn't know a seal was there. Good job Kala hiding from the boys and the people!
Next they found Miss Lei Ola RH48 who was alone and snoozing. Her coat is falling apart with her molt. Looks like she's molting in a polka dot pattern. Team R&B said they couldn't capture truly how much she has molted already.
At another west side location after searching for what seemed like forever, they finally got their pay off.
There were two males just hanging out together resting peacefully.
There was RG28 Lefty and RM31 Kai together.
