They started out at a west side location and found a small seal. It was on lower rocks, very dry and snoozing. Although there were no tags other markers showed it to be R416.
They spotted RG32 swimming off the rocks. He turned into seal inslet and hauled out.
Next stop they found RL70 hiding in the rocks. Although she wasalone there were fishers in front of her near the water, also were homeless folks and a dog off leash.
They they hear a huge bang!! then again bang!! It scared them and Leina RL70, she flipped over looking around. She turned to face the water. She settled and was okay.
From there they headed over to the bay and the place was packed with people. On the rocks, the beach there wasn't an area without people. Team R&B spotted a seal swimming just off the rocks. They watched as people went down to the shore line to hang out, pick up shells, etc. The seal looked towards the shore and never landed. They believe this critter to be RM31 Kai.
Last stop they headed down the coast a bit and were thrilled to find another seal. Not just any seal but their beloved Lei Ola RH48. She was resting peacefully, so they took their pics and left immediately to not draw attention to her.
