June 12, 2023 Monday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:20 to 2:30 and there were four seals on island today.
On the rock flats of LPB were the two weaners, RS12 and RS34, close together. Who knows which is which but clearly both weaners and always good to see them together.
About 40 feet of 3BS was a Juvenile Male: juvenile size, fairly thin, light male belly and two tags. Comparing his side to an Adult female she could clearly see it was a juvenile.
Between 3BS and SRI was an Adult Female: adult size, older coat, tannish female belly and two red tags. This "might" be RK38 but Marilyn could not be sure.

Team R&B started their day finding a seal at the bay. There was RL70 Leina resting alone on the rocks. Her funky scars on body were visible. The beaches were all packed so Team R&B made their ID and left the area in a hurry.

Next they went to check on RH48 Miss Lei Ola. She is still molting about 70% done. She is in complete rest mode, barely moving.  There were little fish nibbling at her face area, helping her along.

At another west side location they were thrilled to find two young males hanging out. They were together and snoozing. There was newcomer R416 and the other RP30 Puka.  They were so cute together.  This was the perfect way to end the day.
