Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:15 to 3:25 and there were three seals on island during her observations.
At middle clidd was Weaner A: weaner size, shape and coloration, two red tags, and light female belly. Her guess is that this is RS12 since she didn't see a NB on the right side.
About 25 feet of the 3BS on the waterfront rocks was a Subadult Female: subadult size, mottled gray female belly and two red tags. She later moved up onto the beach and then was gone when Marilyn looks at 2:25.
At 2:25 between the 3BS and SRI Weaner B appeared: weaner size shape and coloration, two red tags and very light female belly. Marilyn did not get a good view of the lower right side, but for now her guess is RS34.
Team R&B started their day at the bay, and their first seal was resting on the rocks. It was the lovely silver fox RH48 Lei Ola. Her beautiful new coat just shines in the sunlight.
Next stop to another west side location were two seals resting together. There was RM31 Kai and then there was R416 Makalii. Both looking pretty darn cute.
Then they got a call from a diver friend, there was a seal on shore atplains. At the time they were busy at the other locations. But later made their way down and found a clean newly molted seal. At first they didn't see any tags, nor was there anything that clicked as far as an ID. After studying the seal they saw the lines on its right cheek, then a scar on fore flipper. Then a wave cleaned the sand and they finally could see there were tags and they were gray. It was KG54/G89 Huakai.
