Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:35 to 3:10 and there were three seals on island today. Interesting part is there was only one weaner seen today.

The weaner was on the 1BS side of Middle cliff where Weaner A was yesterday. The weaner was ID'd by size, shape and coloration with a very light female belly and two red tags. It is a mystery if this is RS12 or RS34. 

On the Lankikai side of SRI were two seals near each other:

Adult Female: adult size, tannish female belly and two red tags.

Subadult Female: subadult to adult size, light gray female belly and two red tags.

Team R&B started out first thing this morning at the bay. They were surprised to find RH76 Kala so high up in the rocks. She must be part billy goat (LOL)  

They also spotted a seal hauling up on the rocks very carefully. It was Kai RM31, seems he has been aware of all the people around and rocks being thrown lately.

They headed over to tracks and spent time studying the water and rocks, they did see a turtle but that was about it. Then from afar they saw people around a resting seal.  The seal had a new coat, and they saw a scar on her chest. This got them very excited so they "flew" down there to discover it was KG54 Huakai.  They called the hotline, but no volunteers arrived. Team R&B met a guy who has been to midway, so they explained KG54's journey. 

At another west side location they found a little seal pulling up on the rocks. It was R416 and he seems

to be doing just fine, of course Team R&B love seeing him.

From here they checked out the cliffs and saw there were people checking out the area.  They immediately headed over and there was RL42 Leia getting comfy and letting out a few sneezes.  People were respectful. 

Lastly they went back to the bay and found the lovely Miss Lei Ola RH48. She was alone on the rocks looking sparkling silver with her new coat.

Seems RM31 Kai moved up and RH76 Kala was still there at the site.
