Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 10:25 to 11:45 and there were three seals on the island.
Near where she was yesterday about 20 feet of the 3BS was a large Adult Female: presumably pregnant, medium gray female belly. Marilyn still couldn't get a good enough view of her rear left side or flippers. (to determine if it is Pua RF34).
About midway between 3BS and SRI was a Juvenile Male: juvenile to small subadult size, cream colored male belly and unsure about tags. He entered the water about 11:40 and was not seen again.
About 10:45 an Unknown Juvenile hauled out near the J/M.
Unknown Juvenile: juvenile to small subadult size, never saw its belly and did not see any tags.
Team R&B started their day with some nice finds at a west side location. There was: RP30 Puka up on high rocks, R3CU up in mid, high rocks, and RH76 Kala at waterfront rocks.
From afar they noticed a seal on shore at tracks. They hurried over and found RH32 Kaale surrounded by his adoring fans. They called the hotline.
Heading over to secrets they first spotted RG28 Lefty with RL12 Aukai on the reef to the left.
R3CX Nalu was to the right on the reef. Then there were three others on shore. RK72 Kekoa, RL08 and RG32 were all close by to each
other.
other.
During the day they had got word of a seal at Nimitz, they were finally able to make it out to the site and found one lone seal, It was R407 Kawika, no ropes or signs were up, just R407 on shore. They noted it has been quite a while since they had seen any seals in this area.
