Team R&B's first find was at the bay. They found their beloved and beautiful RH76 Kala. She was alone and resting on the rocks.
Later in the day they went back to check on Kala. She was gone and there were lots of folks out people jumping out off the rocks.
They stopped by paradise cove and found two seals on shore. There was a small football between the two of them, don't know which came first the seals or the football.
There was Aukai RL12 with RK72 Kekoa Alii chilling together and there was a volunteer onsite.
During their observation, Kekoa hurried over to the shoreline, they told the volunteer he's going to throw up. (this is what happens when you watch over the seals for years ) Sure enough he did a bright yellow bile and then he was fine after that.
At another west side location they found three seals. RL08 was on high rocks sound asleep. RP30 Puka was moving up at seal inlet and RG40 Holokai was sleeping in the shallows.
As a side note I was reminded today that RL08 is the offspring of RB00 and as a weaner nicknamed BamBam Square Pants. Bam Bam was from our seal pal Val and I came up with square pants when they measured him and his length and girth were very very close.
Lastly they took a drive further west to yoks. There on shore among many people that were out was a seal. It took them almost an hour but they finally ID'd RW02 PvKauai.
