04/12/2022 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕

From a far they spotted a big seal, so they headed over to this west side location. There was R413, she was alone and doing just fine.
At the same site but on lower rocks was RP84 Pe'ekai. He was in snooze mode. Team R&B noticed some marks on hid upper right side pass his fore flipper, nothing major.

Once again from a distance they see a big seal hauling out. They can
see that its Kaale RH32 and there were a woman walking to him. They hurried over and thankfully the woman moved away, but then she returned to pass in front of Kaale.
Then another woman walks close to him looking for shells. Kaale reacted, he leapt up at the woman and started barking. The woman ran away.
Team R&B went over and spent time educating the woman. While doing so the first woman came back to take photos. Team R&B stopped her and gave her some monk seal 101, but she didn't seem to care.
Kaale had it, so he took off gone.

Heading over to another site there was a seal on the rocks by the homeless camp. They saw some guys looking and one guy recognized them. "Hey remember me, I knew DB"  They were able to chat, and were there for an impending clean up.  Team R&B asked if they could go check on the seal, and they were allowed.  There was RN14 Kalani.

They went back to the west side location and now there were three
seals. Pe'ekai was now at the sand patch inland snoozing. RH76 Kala and RL70 Leina were to the right.

They got word of a seal at another beach, so they went to check. There on the rocks was R3CX Nalu. Thankfully there was no blood and he was resting on the rocks just fine.  They were happy to find him and even more relieved he wasn't bleeding.

Team R&B headed over to another site and saw to females basking in the sun on the rocks. They were able to ID RL42 Leia. The other female they believe to be RH48 Lei Ola.

While on the road passing the site where Nalu was, the lifeguard stopped them to say there was a report of a bleeding seal. They returned to find R3CX was bleeding again from the same area as the other day. Having said that he was not bleeding as much. The waves washed away most of the blood and the area looked dark and almost like a scrape.
Melina was on site with them and they stayed for over an hour. R3CX Nalu left and headed out like a bullet. He was going toward the Akule boats.
