03/01/2022 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕

They started their day watching for seals at the outfall. They spotted on foraging and when they were able to get a closer look they saw it was RL08 from Kauai.  He left and headed west.

Next they went to another area and waited. Sure enough, right on cue they saw a seal coming in slowly. People got out of the way once they asked to give the seal some room.
A very large RL12 Aukai came in.  There was a guy who flew a drone over her, Team R&B asked him to make it go higher. Aukai was aware of the drone, and didn't seem comfortable with it buzzing around.  He did which was nice.
Team R&B called the hotline and waited for a while, but no one arrived. They met a really nice couple from Colorado Bob and Ann. They volunteered to watch out for Aukai, this allowed Team R&B to head out.
Heading over to another area they waited, but this time no seals came. Posse pal Amy came by and they hung out for a while. They did see some awesome birds, but no seals. Amy stayed and Team R&B went on their way.

Team R&B got word of two seals at an area where there usually aren't seals. They headed over to check the IDs and when they arrived they were shocked how many people were around and Channel 4 news was filming.
Usually there are divers that go out but there were two seals on a small patch of sand. One seal was R413 and she seemed annoyed by all the people.  One of the folks from the news asked them if they knew who the seals were. They explained R413 was a lovely female from outer island and she was with RK72 Kekoa Alii, a very handsome male.  They emphasized that they RARELY see seals there!
Team R&B called the hotline, and they sent someone out who put up signs.

They ended their say by finding RL08 and RL20 snoozing together at another west side location. The two were on high rocks getting along and resting together.
RN14 Kalani was snoozing in a pond minding his own business.
Last but not least RP84 Pe'ekai was on his own snoozing. As usual he was out of plain view, smart little bugga.
