Todays dailies are brought to you by Lesley and Team R&B💕 Lesley's Ka'ena Updates are part 2 and 3. I encourage you to read and look at all the photos she sent in. Honestly when was the last time you saw a yellow parakeet at Ka'ena Point?
Team R&B decided to have their breakfast at the beach. Once they finished off they went to explore. At first they didn't see anything, but soon enough they saw some movement in the water. There was RL20 Kalua just hauling up on the rocks.
They headed off to another area and didn't see any seals on the rocks. They did see a seal swimmingslowly in the water, and they ID'd RH32 Kaale.
He was in the water with two snorkelers got really close to him and he wasn't happy. RH32 disappeared ( personally I wish he just bit them). This of course upset Team R&B.
Later in the day they went back to recheck the area and saw a seal entering the outfall. It was Kaale once again. He left the outfall soon after and they didn't see him for the rest of the day.
Oh the things they see. Team R&B saw some cool birds today and had to share some happy photos. There was a swan sitting on a nest. At one point she stood up and they saw the egg, and mama swan pulled some leaves, maybe making the nest bigger.
At another west side location they spotted a seal up on high rocks. They could see it was snoozing and its male belly was visible along with some markers. They knew it was RL08 alone resting.
The lastly but not least near the coral patch was the little guy RP84 Pe'ekai. He was rolling in the coral, right, then left tossed his hind flippers and then went to the shallows. Not only is he cute but he is adorable to watch.
