They started out at the bay watching a seal swimming back and forth, until he came up to the corner of the jetty. The seal hauled up cautiously, it was RW22 Kolohe. A fisherman walked on the wall, Kolohe got nervous and turned to leave. He continue to swim in the area. RW22 went all the way to the right swam behind a swimmer for the longest time. By 9:15 he finally landed to the right of the "rest camp" by the first jetty. Team R&B called the hotline right away. They did a recheck on Kolohe a little bit later and a volunteer was on site.
Team R&B did spot another seal swimming around in the bay by the jetty. It was little Mr. green RL20 Kalua. He never landed and they were happy to see him, but after hours they headed out.
At another west side location they found the old crusty dude RK36 Kauai Kolohe resting by seal inlet.
There were two seal all the way to water front rocks. One was RH76 flat out on her back snoozing. She is getting plump. Next to her in the little pond was R3CX Nalu, keeping his eye on her. He is looking pretty green. The two of them were about 100 feet of RK36.
While they were checking on Nalu and Kala they saw another seal from a distance. They headed over and found Lei Ola RH48 on the rocks, snoozing by the camps. Team R&B did their best to get to the area without waking any of the dogs in the area. Miss Lei Ola was looking quite beautiful shining in the sun with her clean coat. She was still there on their second check.
