Team R&B did there early morning check on RL20 Kalua and as usual he was in the water foraging and stealing fish when he could. But the best was yet to come, on their late afternoon check they found him on land snoozing. They have been waiting for this for weeks. He is needless to say extremely green and chubby. Good to see some weight on him since he was looking a little thin last time they actually saw him on land. He had a fishing line around his girth. The best they could tell it looks like extra line sitting on land and he rolled in it and doesn't appear to be attached. So wonderful to see what he looks like chubby little green machine.
At another west side location they found RH76 Kala. They were unable to stay with her, but she appears to be in good shape resting comfortably. She was alone on the rocks.
