Their first find today was RH76 Kala at her zen area. She was alone and snoozing peacefully.
While they were sitting looking out over the ocean checking for any sightings, a friend came by and told them there was a seal. They went to check it out and there was a little seal, and they wondered if this was the little one they saw yesterday playing with RM31. They waited a long time to get the tag shot. They just watched over him and then they saw it was RP28 Wakea! He went right up to his spot and went to sleep. Team R&B spent much of their time making sure he was safe from all the people out and about.
Out on the water they kept seeing splashes far out. At first they couldn't tell what it was, but then a seal appeared. It was RL20 Kalua foraging. He was alone today way out where the boats usually go. He was too far away to see any line or hooks.
At the outfall they spotted an adult seal with red tags foraging. The waves were big and the water was rough so it was difficult to get a decent look at the seal. They thought maybe Kaale, but couldn't be sure so they reported it as an unknown adult.
Heading back to pokai they were surprised to see RH76 Kala had company. There was RG28 Lefty next to her her.
While checking out the two of them they saw this beautiful sanderling.
