Vicki was on the north shore and stopped by Hauula. There she found this beauty and was told by a volunteer that it was Sadie. Vicki tried but was unable to get a tag shot.
When Vicki made her way further north she found the very handsome Holokai RG40, he was resting comfortably on his own.
Team Billand found da Benny RE74 just before 7:30 this morning. Benny was in his new home away home. When they got there a guy was there with his leashed dog taking some pictures of Benny. Team Billand thanked him for having the dog leashed and his response was yes, he has to because the seal is mean and will charge them. LOL Between you and me I think that is wonderful! Benny was popular with the neighbors as a few people
When Benny had enough of the spotlight he galumphed to the shore and let Lady Ocean gently took him out to see. They did not see him again.
Surf was huge and the surfers were out enjoying the swells.
Despite their searching for all the other hot spots Team Billand's only find today was Da Benny.
Team T&D did the Ka'ena Point Trek. Their first find was RL98 where what seems to be a favorite haul out spot for her. This is one of our new visitors to Oahu.
Team T&D's next find was R330 Squinty in a spot that was new for him, at least for Team T&D.
Their last find was Ka'ena RO40 on back beach. He is done with his molt, looking a little lean, but that to be expected since he just finished his molt.
Tammy and Dave also got to see some of the Albatross that have returned.
