November 8, 2019 Monk Seal Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand.

Team Billand found da Benny RE74 at 7 am this morning. He was resting quietly, but the guest from the rental unit cam out to take pictures. Benny was disturbed, he flipped over turned to leap and bark at the lady, who ran away, only to have the husband come out to take some pictures.
Benny is 100% molted, so hopefully he'll be finding a new spot to hang out. One of the dog walkers came by got within 5 feet or so. It's annoying and unfortunate that people are so rude.
On their last check Benny was gone.

At 2:18 this afternoon Team Billand found RL42 Leia alone on the rocks basking in the sun alone. She was still there when they checked back later. She is looking fat and healthy.

RL20 Kalua was spotted on the rocks, alone and on his side. It took forever to see his tags. He did move and with the help of lady ocean they were able to see the tags. He is looking fine, a small scar on left under side.

On a completely different subject and species.... they spotted a dove taking a cool bath.
