November 13, 2019 (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

Well it was one of those NON stop days around here.
I started at first light doing some beach checks and work. We got a call from a neighbor saying there was a seal down at Army Beach. I drove down and found R330 Squinty . He looked great and was very alert.
The field trip group (110 pax) arrived and off we went towards the point. A stop at Hidden Beach where RR70 RIP and RW02 PVKauai m 90% were hauled out.
In the NARS we had a crop of seals: on the Main beach RL12 Aukai and RL74 (F) weaner from Kaulapapa, RO40 Ka'ena started is moltm15% on Back Beach, R303 BG in her pool. Last, I had seen a white bellie on my way in and checked on it on the way out it was U/F weaner (confirmed by sensei) the new non tagged kid on the block.
Also got to see 2 freshly landed Albatrosses and some Spinners.
more awaits us tomorrow ðŸŒº
