Team Billand found Kekoa Alii RK72 at 7:30 this morning on a west side beach. He was way out on the edge of the rocks snoozing. Initially they had a hard time making an idea due to poor lighting conditions. On their second check of the sight they got a positive ID and on their third check Kekoa was gone.
Team Billand met up with RG22 at another west side location. When they arrived at 9:30 am there were orange cones arranged around him. This was the first time they came across this little guy. He is the brother of RH92 and even though he is a year older he is a little smaller than her.
He doesn't have many markings, they spotted a scar on his neck area, small scar left corner of his mouth and he showed his tags.
At 11:30 Team Billand was thrilled to find RH92 Nalani, who they hadn't seen for a bit. (This was after seeing her daily). She is looking great, and may have gained some weight since they last saw her. She was on shore alone, although there were footprints near her.
On their last visit there were quad tracks about 10 feet from her. She was now on the reef, in the rocks and hiding.
Team Billand's last find today was the beautiful Miss Pohaku R028. She is still looking a little on the thin side. Volunteers were on the scene with signs. Guess kids were out of school so it was good to have volunteers onsite.
