At 0652 I found Buster (RV08), appropriately enough, on Buster Flats, Lanai Lookout. He has remained all day. Mark tried for a bleach, but Buster stayed on his back, in a small pool, so it didn’t happen.
At 0820 I found a 35% molted Kolohe (RW22) at the log, 40 ft left of 1BS, and Duke (RA12) out on the left end rock flats.
At 0919 Kainoa (RN04) hauled out to join Kolohe. All remained the day.
Since we hadn’t see Kaiwi anywhere else, I undertook the hump to Toilet Bowl, and sure enough at 1228 there was Kaiwi (RK96) snoozin’ the day away next to da’ bowl.
At 0857 Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) at Campbell Industrial Park, amongst the many poles of a weekend fishing tournament.
Lesley checked in at 0900 to advise that she had checked both Wailupe and Kahala beaches and found no T990. Where will the ol’ dude pop up next ?....Only 990 knows .
Afternoon email from Dana brought the report and shots from Kathy Tushaus of Ua’ Malie (RT10) at Turtle Bay. She said she was between “keiki beach” & “fishermen’s point”
