At 0839 Mae Takahashi called from near her backyard to advise that T990 was snoozin’ at the Naupaka in Aina Haina. She also provided a supporting photo. I did an 1120 check of the ol’ dude and found that he had moved down onto the beach, and was staying cool and wet in the midday heat. He appears happy and well for an ol’, green dude.
At 0709 Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) at Paradise Cove.
At 0722 they advised that Kolohe (RW22) had hauled out to join her.
Colleen was my first......... Text that is ! She texted me that Rocky (RH58) was at Diamond Head. We reverted to voice to voice contact to advise me that Rocky was gone at 1119.
Diga checked in a bit later with the same Rocky news, and also brought word that U’ilani (RN36) had been reported yesterday at Campbell Industrial Park.
Team Billand had seen Haupu (RB24) at Nimitz Cove briefly at 0915. She would depart, but they reported her at 1105 at Wind Sock. She departed at 1638.
At 1506 Diane G., on the Hotline advised that Right Spot (R016) was at the Kuilima Cove of Turtle Bay. Subsequent email from Karen Turner, with photos stated that she had found Right Spot at 1300.
Volunteer Michelle was already there.
At 1534 Ocean Safety called with the report of an animal at Kaimana Beach. I notified Dana. Awaiting further word. In the
Yesterday’s News department, Val Bloy sent shots from her trek, of a molted KC (RK28), Rocky’s daughter RF58 with R8HY, and Pohaku’s boy RF28, on Kauai. Thank You...........Very Much!
