On my first look at Rabbit Island I found 4 animals. Kolohe (RW22) was the only one I could ID at that time. When I got back to Makai Pier at 0832, all were still there, but now visible. At the far left end of the beach I found Aukai (RL12) in the company of Kolohe. Incidently, Kolohe must have started his molt yesterday. He is a solid 10% today. Kainoa (RN04) & Duke(RA12) were together 20 ft left of 1BS. The entire cast would remain the rest of the day.
At 0731 Team Billand reported RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.
At 0835 they advised that Haupu (RB24) was between the bunkers on the east side of Nimitz Beach.
The highlight of the day for me, came with the 1542 call from Team Billand reporting that Buster (RV08) was now with Haupu. I’ve been wondering where that boy was after his sighting at DH the other day, newly back from Penquin Banks. Now we know.
At 1500 Dana called to advise that Tony Querobin had confirmed a 50% molted Right Spot (R016), still at MCBH.
Colleen checked in at 1708 with the news that Rocky was on the east side of the showers at Diamond Head. According to the Hotline call she probably hauled out around 1500 . Tanx Eh , ColleenMail at 1900 advised that one of her “subcontractors” reported Rocky gone at 1815.
Email from Diane G, brought news that she and Karen Turner found a 100% molted Ua Malie at High Rock today at 1145. Thanks guys !!
