At 0600 I found an overnighted Kea (RN46) snoozin’ in the Naupaka ,at Sandy Beach, as has been the case of late. He would move down and depart at 0749, swimming off to the west. Marilyn called at 1045 . She and her team , Gina,Jane & Lisa, had found Kea once again on the outfall at Sandy Beach. When I arrived at 1057 we cordoned him off. He remains.

At 0934 Marilyn called with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls. Melanie would report her gone at 1455. Marilyn, Jane,Lisa & Gina stopped at the pier to check the RI cast. That made a SE Quadrant total of 6 critters, for Marilyn & crew.

At 1000 Dana called to advise that R5AY had been reported at Kahaku Golf Course, and that Tony Q., had reported a 100% molted Right Spot (R016) at MCBH.
Dana forwarded photos from Larry Stamey & Jean Compton’s Ka’ena Point trek today. The shots show RK36 sporting a brand new Cookie Cutter wound, and Ka’ena (RO40) hangin’ out with a shiny and new coated young girl, BG (R303).
Jason O’Rourke did Ka’ena Point from the Waianae side, and found Nihoa (R912) half way in, and RK36 and his new CC wound at the point.
