They started out at Kahe watching for seals, but there were none. They did see the sharks again, no dolphins and two whales.

They met a very nice young man that was curious what they were looking for.  He commented how he sees them all the time. Nice to be seen, especially since they have been doing this for 16 years now!

Suddenly they saw lots of black moving in the water, to the left it was debri. Out of nowhere popped out a seal. They all said Hey Look!

By the time the camera was ready and snapped away, the seal was gone. They could not make out and ID and the seal never hauled out. The waves were still high and the water was murky, and there were people out surfing.

Next they went over to secrets and to there surprise there were lots of people out. There were a few

signs out and thankfully volunteer Joe was on site. There was RN14 Kalani at about 45% molted. Next to him was Lefty RG28. The two were just resting.

They decided to drive out to plains just to check. At first they didn't see anything, so they scanned the coastline and jackpot, they saw signs and ropes out.

They hurried over to once again find RH92 Nalani. She was alone snoozing away. She is looking chubby, so who knows what condition she is in. Her pup was born in April 2022.... soooooo?????
