Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:20 to 2:00 and there were three seals on island.
About 50 feet Makapuu of the 1BS was a Juvenile Male. Juvenile size, light male belly and two red tags. This may be the same seal from 12/12 in the same location.
Adult Female: adult size, gray tan female belly and two red tags. The A/F may have two scars on her dorsal side, one on the right rear and other mid shoulder.
Adult Male: adult size, dark coat, male belly and unsure about tags.
Marilyn noted the masked boobies have started nesting, one of the parents appeared to be sitting for long periods.
Team R&B made a stop and was talking with one of the divers. He had footage of a seal underwater, looking in holes and just laying on the ocean floor. They saw it had tags, clean coat and a male, but no positive ID.
After a while they happen to spot a seal hauling up on shore. They didn't recognize it from a distance so they headed over. It was a small male, tags but covered in sand and a natural bleach on his butt area, with two long line scars! There was Kalua RL20, who they were thrilled to see. He hasn't been around for a bit.
Next they headed over to secrets and high up in the bushes were two seals. They ID RN14 Kalani higher up and next to him was Kekoa Alii RK72. There was a volunteer on site so they didn't spend lots of time.
They called it a day to take some personal time.
