12/07/2022 Wednesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:55 to 1:55 and there were five seals on island during her observation.
In a group down from the 1BS were four seals:
Juvenile Male: juvenile to small subadult size, light male belly and two red tags.
Unknown Adult #1: adult size, newer coat, light gray belly, unsure of gender and two red tags.
Unknown Adult #2: adult size, dark coat, not sure about tags or gender. This could be the dark coated male she has seen lately.
Next was an Adult Female: adult size, gray-tan female belly and two red tags.
During her viewing session both U/A#2 and the A/F moved up and the A/F was hidden behind the U/A#2.
At SRI was a seal that Marilyn believes to be RK24.
Wawamalu/Bruno RK24: subadult to adult size, light male belly and a scar on lower left lip. He got tossed by a wave and then moved up the beach.

Team R&B did lots of looking and then finally at a west side location they spotted a seal on the rocks. It was RP30 Puka  and he was along. His scar on his right side and one tag were visible.

Next stop at secrets and there were two seals. Team R&B identified Kekoa Alii RK72 with Kaale RH32.  Then they almost missed the seal on the rocks below. It was Lefty RG28.  Seems these boys been hanging out together a lot lately.

At the last stop they were lucky to see a partial belly hidden in the rocks. They had to wait forever for the seal to move.  They heard the seal go through a sneezing fit and thankfully it finally moved.  There was RQ24 Mauna, he was nice enough to show his tag.  Their patience (a lot of it) paid off.
