12/13/2022 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕

They started at a west side location and found RG28 Lefty. He was alone, snoozing in the morning sun. He was fine so they moved onto their next stop.

Team R&B got word of two seals at lagoon 3, so they went to lunch (just kidding) immediately headed over. When they arrived there were quite a few tourists and two seals roped off on shore. They ID'd RL12 Aukai and RH32 Kaale.
A green floatie blew into the area and a guy just ran after it.  Thankfully the cute couple (seals) were just fine.  But it didn't stop there, tourist were just entering the roped area as they pleased. Good news there were other tourist yelling at them; "Get out of there, can't you read the signs??"  The answer back was I thought it was a rock.

Next stop they went to check the outfall. They spotted a seal in the water along with snorkelers chasing them for a look. Team R&B tried to get and ID but they only knew it was an adult, reported as an Unknown/Adult.

Then they headed over to one of the more popular west side beaches and found two seals.
On shore was Kekoa Alii RK72 and on the rocks was RN14 Kalani. There were no volunteers on site, but there were ropes up.
They stuck around and educated folks who came alone. But there is always that one, they don't listen. Seems he questioned why and giving their best shot explained. He still went ahead nearer to Kalani then over to Kekoa despite their asking him to keep back.

They could have called it a day, but no they decided to check Kaena
West.  I'm sure it provided some peace after dealing with all the people.
First they found RO40 Kaena on the rocks. He was alone and snoozing.
Just to his right was a smaller seal and they got lucky by seeing the tags right away. It was Puka RP30 to end their day.
They had to rush back out as the sun was going to set.  They got to see their beloved whales and a gorgeous sunset.
