Team R&B spent a long time waiting at their first stop today. They met up with a diver friend while waiting. They both spotted a seal from afar in the water coming their way.
Before they knew it R3CX Nalu hauled in with the rough surf. Actually he surfed his way right into the rocks and landed. They gave their friend the background on Nalu.
At another west side location they found Kai RM31. Once again hewas on his own and today they were able to get a better look at his wound on his lip. It does look like its healing whatever had caused it, perhaps a hook that was tossed.
Moving on their next stop they found a seal that they could not ID right away. It happens sometimes and it takes a lot of patience and persistence to wait it out. Finally they ID'd RL70 Leina. It was only after she went for a dip to cool off they were able to see her neck scar.
Then they saw a boat with many nets in the water, looks like they caught quite a bit. They were not that far away from RL70 Leina, thankfully she was hauled out and not interested in the fish.
Lastly they returned to check on R3CX Nalu, but he was gone. However they were thrilled to find RH48 Lei Ola. She was on the rocks snoozing as the waves were lapping at her. The surf was crazy, but she found a cozy spot to rest.
