12/22/21 Wednesday Monk Seal Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕.  Marilyn's update from Rabbit Island is part 2 of todays dailies. She had nine seals today, so it is best to have it reported in her own words than my paraphrasing.  What an amazing busy day.

Team R&B started their day finding Mr. Kalani RN14 at a west side site. He was on the rocks resting alone.  Later in the day he moved to the little pond and continued his siesta.

RG28 Lefty showed up and made his way on the rocks.  Team R&B could not see his new applied bleach but they knew it was him.

While looking about for seals they spotted a seal haul up on shore with a woman close by him. The

seals was big boy RH32 Kaale.  Another lady approached close, but she meant well. She was going up to the other woman to tell her to get away from the seal, he just hauled out to rest. (bravo!!)

The only seal they found at the bay was R3CX Nalu. He was peacefully resting on the rocks. And they couldn't see his applied bleach either.  Well look at this way, the seals cooperated yesterday, when the bleach was applied, today not so much. But at least we know the bleach is there for future reference.

Lastly they spotted a seal resting on shore from afar. They headed over to the location to investigate and there was Leia RL42.  She was alone having a good rest.
