Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from Makai Pier from 12:35 to 2:15 pm. It was somewhat sunny with frequent passing clouds and moderate winds.
There were four HMS seen on RI during my viewing session.
Initially on the waterfront about 20 feet Makapuu side of 1BS was TA68 "Laysan". He was ID'd by his dark coat, a healing CC bite on his upper right side, two pit scars on his left side, two red tags and a nb on his mottled male belly. About 1:45 pm he entered the water and moved in the Makapuu direction in "cruiser male" mode. He stopped briefly where RF34 and PO3 were, but then continued on and hauled out of SRI near the JF (see below). He stayed about 15-20 feet away from the JF before turning around and departing at about 2 pm.
Between Middle Cliff and 3BS, RF34 Pua and PO3 mostly slept. The pup did move around mom some and pestered her a few times.
Near SRI was a Juvenile Female (JF), the same seal I ID'd as an unknown juvenile yesterday. She has a light yellow female belly and two red tags. She was aware of TA68 when he arrived, but did not interact with him.
