Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:33 to 2:04 and there were three seals seen during that time.
Once again two of the three critters included out new Mom and Pup.
Near the beach in the middle cliff area was mom RF34 Pua and her 3 day old pup. The pup initially started out behind the mom but then moved around to her ventral side to nurse. Pua never really moved during the time Marilyn was watching. The little one was active and doing all the normal things a 3 day old does.
The only other seal was a Juvenile Female, probably the same seal Marilyn has seen recently. Due to her position and the sea spray the photos weren't that great.
Team R&B's first stop they found Kai RM31 alone, snoozing on the rocks.
They did seal a seal foraging off the rocks doing 6 to 7 minute dives. They could see it was RL08 Kalua, by his cc scars and applied N18 bleach. He did not haul out at this time.
Their next stop at Kahe they found Lefty RG28. He was alone chilling on the rocks with the wind whistling by.
They headed over to electric beach and found R3CX Nalu had left the southwest area where he had been hanging out the past few days.
Team R&B reported to the hotline and NOAA of a guy in the area with a large dog that wasn't being responsible, and borderline threatening.
Heading over to Nimitz they found a male seal resting on kermit's reef. They believe this is R407 Kawika who had been hanging out there the past few days. He didn't move much just alone and resting peacefully.
They ended their day where they started and RM31 Kai was still in the same spot. They found that RL08 had finally hauled out. He was snoozing in a pond with his butt out and head in the water.
