Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:45 to 1:53 and there were five seals seen during that time, on this beautiful clear sunny day.
Initially alone near the waterline on LPB was an Adult Male: adult size, dark male bely and Marilyn doesn't think he had tags.
At 12:57 the AM was joined by TA68, adult size, dark male belly, two tags, two pit scars on right side, scars near rear flippers, healing CC bite on upper right side.
Again at Middle Cliff were Pua RF34 and pup. They mostly snoozed while Marilyn was watching.
Between 3BS and SRI was a Sub-adult Male: sub-adult size, light tan male belly, two red tags.
On the waterfront rocks in the Middle Cliff area the Noddy Terns were having a convention.
Tammy and Dave aka Team T&D are on Molokai. They saw one seal today RS04. She is RJ40's 2023 pup and just made her one year birthday. Tammy noted she is one of the smaller yearlings she has seen.
Meanwhile back on Oahu Team R&B started their day at the bay. There they found the lovely RL70 Leina. She was alone resting peacefully.
They watched the dolphins acting a little different today, suddenly a big pod coming up above the surface really fast. Team R&B saw something jump out of the water, which they thought might be a shark and the dolphins took off in different directions.
Heading over to Kahe they found R407 was initially alone. He was dry and his signature natural bleach was visible on his side and the cc scar on his back.
While in the area they spotted Kaale RH32 coming in, taking his sweet time. When he got to the rocks he looked around and saw R407. He waited, rolled, turned and then took off heading west.
Last find, they were happy to find RN14 Kalani. He was once again at Kermit's Reef. The waves were washing over him, but he stayed.
