07/28/2022 Friday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:30 to 1:05 and there were a total of four seals.
Further Lanikai side of LPB after she hauled out at 11:55 am was weaner PO7 Mahina. She is still hefty and Marilyn was able to see both her N1 applied bleach and the tag on her LRF.
About 30 feet Makapuu of her was weaner RQ76 Malama who had just hauled out when Marilyn started viewing at 11:30. She went into snooze mode, but later moved into a depression in the beach.
In the middle of LPB was a subadult to adult male, older coat with a green male belly and two tags. Marilyn saw a scar on the the seal's right rear side which makes her think this was RK24 Wawamalu/Bruno.
Not too distant from RK24 labeled as an Adult Female (AF): adult to subadult size, new coat, lighter female belly, and two red tags.

Team R&B started their day nice and early and found Kai RM31. He was on the rocks snoozing doing just fine.

Off to another west side location they found Kai's brother Puka RP30. He was just coming up at seal inlet and was alone. He was watching out for all the crabs scurrying on the rocks nearby.

Next stop they saw a seal foraging in the outfall. They studied and were able to ID RL20 Kalua. They weren't sure if the little bugga stole any fish.
Lastly they spotted a seal moving up on shore. They went to check it out and there was RL42 Leia, she was alone today.

Along their travels today they saw turtles basking on a beach. And watched as some surfers caught some big waves.
